I purchased a pair of Iron Gauntlets of the Warlord from the Blacksmith hoping that the +2 damage it indicated would also apply to my spells just like the Evil Amulet. Unfortunately that is not the case which is quite misleading as both items simply state +1 Damage or +2 Damage. I also saw an Assassin's Ring for sale, does this item's +2 Damage bonus apply to spells as well?
On another note I originally made my Mage nefarious on the hope that the malice damage bonus would apply to spell attacks, but I'm about mid way through the game and it has not, is it safe to say that Malice does not apply to spells? I'm starting to think I really should have rolled a melee because they get all the cool stuff like + Damage bonuses and Stats which directly impact their damage.
