Help with this bug please.
Have rescue brother quest.
Fought my way to prison in west Vela.
Got message along the lines, "see someone on rack barely alive"
Problem is, I don't see anyone. Have done a careful search, even tried predator vision.
Tried reloading save, exiting and re-loading game.
Please tell me there is help. Cause the only other save is waaaaay back in the very early parts of the game.

Re: Rescue Brother Quest - Vela
The only real way at this point is to reset that map:
Official instructions for resetting Vela:
1) Leave Vela and save your game in either Baron's Thicket or Blackwater area.
2) Exit the game, go to the save game slot that you just saved to, and delete these three files: "22.map", "22.opq", and "22.ent"
[note] Your saved game slots should be in a folder called "Eschalon Book 1 Saved Games", inside your "My Documents" folder. If you don't find it there, check the game's installation folder.
3) Restart the game, and load your last save. Now when you return to Vela, it should be reset.
When you return to that hut, draw the enemies away from it to prevent them from killing the guy on the rack.

Sigh of relief here.
A thousand thanks, replaying it to prepare for the release of Book II.
