Ack!

My favorite part was: "His goals for Fable 2 include combat that's "so simple that anyone can play it" and that "makes you feel cool," both of which he hopes to achieve with just one button on the Xbox 360 controller button."
That's where modern games and I part company; I'm not looking for combat that makes me feel cool.

(especially not through repeated use of an Xbox button)
Although he's got a big following and (or) a giant hype machine, particularly in the UK, I've never really liked any of Molyneux's games. Didn't try Fable though. Just assumed its console origins would make it twitchy. And twitch games make
me twitchy.
I know that statement pretty much told me I was not going to play Fable 2. I played the first one and yes it was consolish and i think the thing I hated most was the path finding. You couldnt walk off the path into the woods, it was paths only....drove me crazy....
Molyneux has some good ideas but what he promises for the games are never even close to what is actually in the game. I guess that pretty standard hype now though.
Its got twitch based real time combat too, so yea I would definitely say avoid part 2 since it sounds even worse than 1, and I would only pick up 1 for a 10$ bargain bin if you cant find anything else to do.
