Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows

Post by Dragonlady »

Won't be here much for the next few days as I'm reading the last Harry Potter book. On page 58 (over slept this morning) and already there have been two deaths. This is going to be a blood, grusome book! :)

Humm, forgot to put "(possible spoilers)" in subject. Oh well.

Am having fun. Came up for air and a break. Half way thru the book with 400 pages to go. There isn't much I can do these days besides read, computer putter or do arm exercises in my wheelchair. Sigh. :)

My real busy days are behind me, have my son and husband to do the work around here now. :D

edit: Phew! finished it, only took 11 hours. :) Very well done, action never stopped and the ending was logical. The epilogue could have been better though. Left a 'this was for the "what happened?" next crowd' bad taste in my mind. Kinda left a loop hole just in case Rowling decided to change her mind about writing any more Potter stories I think.

I was so horribly afraid of running across spoilers that I stayed up and finished it.

Finished reading it last night. I got to say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The last couple were disappointing for me, probably could have covered the same ground in one book rather than two.

The ending was appropriate - albeit predictable - for the series.
