4 chests puzzle (spoilers)

Post by MaximB »

Hello !

I am not so good with puzzles, so I have no hope in solving this alone...

There is a room in the sewers with 4 chests with some writings above each chest.

What do I need to put into each chest ?

Thanks
MaximB.

As mentioned in http://www.basiliskgames.com/forums/vie ... dle#p26658
Put lockpick, salt, candle, quill and ink, in that order.

Is there more than one source for a candle? - I lost the only one I ever found - in the barrel by the drunk.

Sometimes they appear as random loot, but that far into the game it's unlikely. Just keep checking with the merchants.

No, at least at one place there seems to be always a candle:
At Port Kuudad, you can find the drunk officer from Book I. At that place there's a barrel, where I always found a candle.

Sure, it shouldn't be too hard. All that the game's looking at is the name of the item, so don't worry about the picture or any of the other qualities. I believe the names are "Small Candle," "Quill and Inkwell," and "Bag of Salt".

-Thank you, I was trying to find the exact names of the items, so that helps. Cheers.

-It worked, thank you sir. Now to try this with the bronze armor...
