Rainblood:Town Of Death
Rainblood:Town Of Death
Here's one that's an RPG maker made RPG that doesn't look like one. Great hand drawn art..I guess it's only about 6 hours long with a sequel in the works...
I read it's the number 1 RPG in China...I'm kind of stoked so far..free demo for 30 minutes...

Interesting, although that name is a little silly. I don't know if that's a translation thing, but I swear "Rainblood: Town of Death" sounds like something marketing came up with to sound really grim/dark.

Hmm... might be a translation thing, but you're right: Rainblood: Town of Death is truly, truly atrocious.
But then: gaming doesn't seem to be the place to go to find nice-sounding or mature titles. Honestly: I really don't think they care too much, for the most part.

Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

The classy, sophisticated language of Japan tends to agitate my red blood cell count, so if there are screen shots anywhere on the site, could someone post the link to those same screen shots here? Thanks...

...Ah, those Japanese and their highfalutin, elitist symbols which we laymen can't understand... curses on them!Rush wrote:The classy, sophisticated language of Japan tends to agitate my red blood cell count, so if there are screen shots anywhere on the site, could someone post the link to those same screen shots here? Re: Rainblood:Town Of Death
From now on, maybe both the Chinese and Japanese should simply call all their games Calligraphicdeath: Town of Our Language Is Better than Yours.
...Or some variant on that.
...Or maybe: Rainink: Town of We Knew You Could Never Hope to Understand.
