Bells easter egg [MAJOR SPOILER]

Post by atori »

So. Major spoiler. If you want to kill fun or stuck then read further. There are 4 bells around the game. Here are locations for all of them:
1. Cerulescent bell. In West Willow (thanks to Dragonlady).
2. Lutescent bell. In thieves_arcadia map under Port Kuudad's sewers.
3. Virescent Bell. Lorewitch tower. Floor 2.
4. Rubescent Bell. Hammerlorne. Level 2.

When you collect all 4 bells go to Port Kuudad to library. There will be locked gate there. Library's owner, Saint Gihelm, will unlock the gate if to show him orakur book, which was collected in bronze easter egg (search in forum for this). Gihelm will open even more ancient library. Step there and find something similar to umm... firtree? Anyways, click it and  you gain 30'000 exp.

As others have said, there is no bell in EAST Willow. It is in West Willow. You have to go under the lake, and then climb up a ladder to end up on an island in the middle of the lake fir the bell there. Others have given clues.

I have 3 of the Bells, on my way back to Hammerlorne to find the last one. My character doesn't have high strength and he can't carry a lot.

Question though, I accidentally threw away the Orakar book but there are others right?

There are two different books about the Orakur. One is very common and is found practically everywhere (there'll always be a copy in the bedroom of the small house in the middle of Nor'land), called "The Orakur are Watching" I believe. The other is only found by solving the puzzle in the house south of the Farrock Caverns. That second book only has one copy in the whole game, so if that's the one you threw out, there's no (in-game) way to get it back.

Okay, that's really annoying, because I searched on the name of that book: "Orakur - Of Fact and Fiction" and nowhere did anyone say it was useful for anything, so I sold it. Anyway, my point in posting here is to help someone else, if they happen to search for that book, hopefully they'll stumble upon this thread and find out that they should keep it.

Well heck. I sold mine a long time ago… before I ever registered for the forum. Dang it! Would be nice if I could buy it back, even if I did have to perhaps chase it around the board since others would want it too. It would also be cool if the shopkeepers I've killed would be randomly replaced on a periodic time table (no, not the one from chem).

Think of this as an excuse to play through again with a different character :)

That's what I was thinking. I figure I will know which order to do things and what items to not throw away this time! :D That wasn't the only item I sold prematurely. :)
