I gotta admit I got a bit of a chubby when those tentacles burst out of the water at the end... Wait no that's not what I mean. *sigh* Damn that sounded wrong.
Okay so take this with a grain of salt since I'm an unabashed fanboy of Piranha Bytes games (yes even Gothic 3), but I'm super amped for this game. Risen 2 along with Eschalon Book III are the RPGs I'm most looking forward to in 2012 so far (I'm just guessing Book III will come out in 2012). I really like the pirate feel of the game and I'm totally fine with them scrapping bows and arrows in favor of guns as it fits with the pirate theme. It would be awesome if there were sea battles. Not necessarily where you control the ship and fire cannons at each other, but boarding another ship or getting boarded and swashbuckling on the deck. Or fighting off a giant Kraken trying to destroy the ship. That would be freakin' awesome.
