The WIDGET
The WIDGET
Is there any reason the widget is in this game? It can't be sold because all the vendors tell me to keep it I may need it! Is there a quest or is there somewhere it is supposed to be put? I've gone through the game twice and talked to everyone who would talk to me to no avail. A little help on this one or can I just drop it or leave it in the Wizards chest?[/b]javascript:emoticon('')

jerryv, the widget does nothing. It has no use. Culmination is trying to pull the wool over your eyes. The widget keeps the game from crashing on an item generation error. If an item is suppose to be produced and is not , the widget is produced. Culmination for shame you should have put a wink in that post. Actually jerryv if you had searched the forum for widget, you would have found the answer to your question.

Re: The WIDGET
I'm hoping it does something completely unique and yet utterly insignificant, why? Isn't that what widgets tend to do in real life? Well some widgets anyway. You know like being the lost gear in some ancient yet highly advanced civilization's vending machine.
I'm also hoping that our adventurer held on to it as one of the mysterious treasures obtained in his (or her, considering that option is now available for Book II) travels. In other words in a chest in the beginning of the game thus further tying in Books I and II further, in the player's mind anyway.
Or have be useful in Book III? So that we can further be in suspense?
I could also see it becoming part of a quest chain involving the doodad, the whatchamacallit, and the thingamajig. SO MYSTERIOUS!
