When I first bought this game I had a Dell D600 with a Radeon 7500 and it ran great. However, the laptop died. I replaced it with a D610 I got for 100 bucks a couple of years ago. I've had Ubuntu 10.10 on it since I got it. It's so much faster than any windows platform on this hardware. However, the Intel i915 drivers in Linux really hold the system back with games. I reinstalled WinXP and its as smooth as butter.
