very simple question.

probably a very simple answer.

just bought the game (again - lost my licence key from years ago) on gog.com

just started and i want to fill my waterskin.
i assume i do it at the well outside my home but i cant figure out how.
i tried left clicking and i got a message saying it quenched my thirst. indeed my thirst bar went up, but the waterskin was empty still.
i tried right clicking and nothing happened.
i tried dragging the skin over the well but that just got me a message asking if i wanted to drop the skin.

something obvious im overlooking here?

Are you playing the game with equipment wear turned off? This is a known issue and all you need to do is sell the water skin you found in your house and get yourself another one.

Also be aware that the storekeeper might not have a waterskin in his shop, so save before asking to see what he has. Then ask, if no waterskin in his inventory, reload and try again. I had to reload 5 times once. After that I didn't use the reload method for other things.

In the early part of the game you are near wells so you can just walk back to use one.
