Curse removal

Just a quick question for an irritating problem....I've started playing as an assassin, and I was cursed early in the game with no recent saves. Is my only only option the dehex scroll which will take forever to get? Will a level up cure it? I know that a priest can't help me and I'd rather not start over.

Why can't a priest help you? The only reason I can think they wouldn't would be if you were atheistic, but then you couldn't get cursed...

Wow.....sorry for that. I just had my mind wrapped around far too much in terms of character build that I had my own character completely confused. Thanks for the patient reply. All is good with my man Slim again
