The best part of Destroyer is the ending cutscene, very different from the "good" ending.

That's not really a big deal to achieve Destroyer status, obviously, the easiest way to kill all guards - crash down the gate on them.

The experience you get is amazing also, it's like 3000 points just for the kills. I had a little trouble at first but Stoneskin combined with an already high DR means that you basically are immune from combat damage. It also lasts long enough that I only had to use 2 or 3 for the whole combat.

WE NEED MORE. More blood-soaked, entrail-twisted, gore-drenched, Destroyer-fueled mayhem. Do not be seduced by the path of good and light. Give yourself over to the dark side, and experience the true power of becoming one of the few, the proud, the DESTROYERS.

Yeah, I got it too, didn't think to take a screenshot and I'm sure as hell not doing it again.

A combination of judicious potion use to buff up protection and offense and setting the entire room on fire with my stockpile of oils helped. It still wasn't easy.

Actually you can go invisible and they'll all wander away (except the one you are chewing on at the time). I did it too, but didn't screenshot. I'm not sure how you'd know it was an option if you hadn't read it here. I was a bit sad I got kicked out back to main menu, I wanted to go back and kill everything else too... starting with those town guards ..

...that's the perfect mindset for the Kill Everything challenge game (see the Eschalon Challenge Game thread).

Just got destroyer, but don't know how to post screenshots :oops:

Anyways, great game, very enjoyable. The ending was a bit abrupt, but I guess thats only because I was enjoying the game so much.

I have to say I laughed out loud when the goblin shaman summoned 3 of his pet spiders as if that was going to be enough... one of the easiest fights of the game.

The fight against the guards wasn't hard either really, once you throw up haste, bless, enchanted weapon, stoneskin, ogre strength, nimbleness etc :lol:

Looking forward to Book 2 :wink:

It is wonderful idea with that Destroyer tweak
