Hide in Shadows and then camp to rest. You still have Hide in Shadows status with a roaring camp fire next to your tent to light up the area.

This goes back to Book I and II, and I'm glad it hasn't changed.
Tavern keepers and other general goods merchants are perfectly willing to buy and sell human skulls and other bones. I always think it is funny when I walk into a shop and find a skull for sale along with the usual food, books, gemstones, and other miscellaneous items.

Getting cursed by the damn dogs on the mine's second level - all of a sudden MP regeneration goes from 2/round to basically zero. I got up to 7 HP dehydration before I finally made it up to the well in Rockhammer. I would have died but had just enough MP left to cast Divine Heal a couple of times.Farwalker wrote:Thought this might be a fun thread topic, and to start it off:

I opened up a giant clam and found a femur.
Not sure if it was random loot or intentional, but I can only imagine how it got in there.

Yeah, don't stick your foot in a giant clam!

Tricking over enthusiastic goblin demolitionists (I don't actually know what their title is) into destroying their friends.

Well, sometimes I do pick the XP. Like when I trapped a certain laughing blacksmith in his own room. I was SO tempted to take him out with the portcullis... but decided to play ring around the anvils with him instead.
(And it was still fun! )
Re: E3 Memorable Moments
Well, portcullis kills are fun, assuming you aren't on the receiving end of them. Many times, while playing for immaculate (I do every round, it's easy), I would run to the nearest portcullis after contracting a disease and cast spark on the lever. It only deals 350 damage though, so now I'm interested to see if I can make a character that can survive it. Try picturing that in real life...
Re: E3 Memorable Moments
I managed it once, in E1 or E2 not sure which. I do remember it was really close, I had less than 10 hp left.Vroqren wrote:Well, portcullis kills are fun, assuming you aren't on the receiving end of them.
