Is the sign in Elderoak Forest supposed to be oriented this way? I'm thinking it should be landscape and not portrait. It's at 33, 101.

Hmmm. I had thought it was meant to be like that, but then none of the other signs lay over the UI like that, do they?

I believe that it's supposed to represent the sign being tilted and fallen from age (or I did when I first saw it), but I don't know if that's actually the case.

Check out my walkthroughs:

With apologies, I missed the text that *does* say "You see a broken moss covered sign hanging from the post by a single nail." So, yeah, supposed to be like that. Pretty odd look though.

Oh my... The whole English thing means a lot to you doesn't it? I have to be careful not to make any mistakes. Was I supposed to capitalize English in those two places?

You might look through the game text files that BW just posted in a sticky. Probably easier to look through than screenshots. That's what I did during testing, but obviously I missed a few :)

Ah, some of the world's best art has horrible spelling mistakes. Do you remember this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2DBcbZc3ck. The composer, instead of 'A goddess on a mountain top' had misspelt it as 'A goddness on a mountain top'. And that's how the singer sang it, she hardly knew any English, the band was from The Hague.
It still became a number 1 hit in America and quite a few other countries, but you can very clearly hear the misspelling in the first line.

"As soon as I walked into the blacksmith in Old Moonrise he attacked me."

Same thing happened to me, except with the magic seller. I figured I'd been seen stealing or something, so I reloaded a previous save from before I'd even found Old Moonrise, worked my way back, and the same thing happened. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Was really wanting some new spells!

Try either a Charm spell or a Potion of Charm Cloud - if it works, after it wears off, the NPC will no longer be hostile. Give it a shot...

Not sure if it's a bug or what, but my perfect condition heavy boots took 995 conditioning damage and fell apart quick traveling from inside the wrecked ship to rockhammer.

Seems a bit excessive, some miscalculation on the traveling distance perhaps?

edit: addendum, stepping outside the ship and quick traveling the boots only took 13 damage for the same trip.

That's a bug - it shouldn't be possible to quick travel from inside the ship.

I quick travelled out, quit the game and deleted the map file for old moonrise in the savegame. Went back and the blacksmith was no longer hostile.
