Windows 8 Tablet Computer

Post by ZoeyJeanne »

Will Book III run on a Windows8 touchscreen tablet? (specifically, the Surface tablet.) Thanks.

It should on tablets running standard Windows 8 just fine, although not being designed with touch screen in mind I've no idea how the controls would feel.

However a quick Google says that the Surface tablets run Windows 8 RT which I believe means they are are not standard x86 architecture and can only run apps specifically designed for them.

Ok; I'll just give it a go and see what happens. Thanks.

Yes, I have played Book 3 on a Surface. I didn't play very long so I don't know if you'll run into problems later on, but it does load!

OK, maybe I was talking non sense, or are there versions of the service that run normal Windows 8 as well as RT?
