Mac mini performance

Hello,

I'd like to buy the latest mac mini (code 2 duo, 2Ghz Leopard, 1GB) but I would like first to know if book I is running correctly. Anybody has tested it on this hardware? No limitation expected?

Download the demo and see how it runs, specifically in the first town of Aridell. If the demo runs satisfactory for you, the full game will too.

Well the point was to first collect opinions from users before buying the mac and testing the demo...

Sorry, I misread your post! I think it would run splendidly on that machine, though I haven't personally tried it on those exact specs.

So I have ordered this Mac Mini, and will post my comments after installing the game.
I hope that this machine won't become too slow when it will be the time to run Book II
By the way, how many additional resources book II is suppoed to require, comparing to book I ? (if it s the same engine, we may assume just 15% additional cpu?

Book II will require about the same resources as Book I. There are a lot more details in Book II, but we've also made a lot of optimizations to the engine.

Ok, got a mac mini 2ghz and it works indeed perfectly.
That s great as i can expect Book II running nicely for this hardware as well - thanks.
