Chests in shops behind gates
Is there any way to get to these chests most notably in the armory in Port Kuudad.
I would prefer not using a map editor or anything else outside of the game.

There are a number of places in the game that have chests we can't get to. They're there to torture us in frustration by the GM. That area is one of them.TriathlonDude wrote:Is there any way to get to these chests most notably in the armory in Port Kuudad.

Yeah - I attempted many times to find a way into there, but alas, there is none. Some people have used a map editor to get themselves in there, and report that there isn't anything spectacular, they are simply random loot chests like most in the game.

I assume Dragon_Lady is referring to the 'Game Master' or 'Game Maker'. Not entirely sure though.

As Vroqren says, she means game master. PnP RPG lingo for the person who sets up the adventure, meaning, of course, Thomas the Basilisk Wrangler.Lord_P wrote:By the GM?Dragonlady wrote:by the GM.

Yep, Game Maker. Though BW is a Gamemaster too.Vroqren wrote:I assume Dragon_Lady is referring to the 'Game Master' or 'Game Maker'. Not entirely sure though.

Yes, I know what GM means, but I thought that there are no Dungeons and Dragons in Eschalon.

Heh. Of course, to be pedantic, in D&D, campaigns were run by the DM (dungeon master). GM came into wider use as the world of PnP role playing expanded. Didn't someone also make a really bad movie once called Dungeon Master?Lord_P wrote:Yes, I know what GM means, but I thought that there are no Dungeons and Dragons in Eschalon.
And, there's at least on Dragon(lady) in the pub, and the skeleton of one apparent dragon in Eschalon, so there could well be more. We'll see in Book III. And there are certainly dungeons.

Don't forget Dragon Skin Armor. I'd assume that's made from a dragon's skin, weird as it seems, not just polyester or something.Kreador Freeaxe wrote: And, there's at least on Dragon(lady) in the pub, and the skeleton of one apparent dragon in Eschalon, so there could well be more. Bad propaganda, that Dragon Skin Armor is. It's really made of Kevlar but Kevlar doesn't sound as scary/powerful as a dragon. So we dragons get hunted to extinction just because. Blasted Orakur (sp?) have a lot to answer for!Vroqren wrote:Don't forget Dragon Skin Armor. Riiight... Kevlar. That makes sense...
No, I lied. I doesn't make sense. Where did BW get Kevlar?

Kevlar is actually woven candecium threads.Vroqren wrote:Riiight... Kevlar. That makes sense...

Re: Chests in shops behind gates
I was just about to say that I had it all figured out when Kreador posted, but here's what I deducted:
Kreador, being the Orakur that he is (yes, I've decided that's what you are), invented kevlar, and sold it to BW for use in his games, under the condition that BW put Kreador into his games.
The fact that Kreador knows what kevlar actually is, is proof that my story is true.

What I meant is what I said in an older post:
In response to someone saying that priests use maces and shields. I know of the many dragon-related items (or are they?) and of the dragon skeleton.Lord_P wrote:There may be dungeons and dragons in Eschalon, but there are no Dungeons and Dragons in Eschalon.
Now we know the true nature of Kreador! Could you lend your candecium time machine to Dragonlady?Vroqren wrote:I was just about to say that I had it all figured out when Kreador posted, but here's what I deducted:
