Re: Help!
I did, but I'm still encountering the same problem. The "Basilisk Games" folder just isn't in my Library. I searched "Saved Games", and all that came up were my saved games from EBI and EBII.

Help!
I went to download the "Rockhammer Mine" mod, and I discovered that I don't have a "Basilisk Games" folder in my application support folder (I use a Mac). I honestly have no idea what happened. I go "library-application support", but there is nothing past that. I purchased the game from BG legally ...

Re: Who hired Zeblin? Some spoilers
The more I think of it, the more I do believe Korren got it. But you would probably leave a pile of ash behind, too. Didn't all your clothes and gear get scorched off?

On "non-fantasy" PnP Game
Any pen-and-paper medieval RPGs you know of with no fantasy elements? As much as I like fantasy/sci-fi, I also have an avid interest in the Middle Ages. I've also been really getting into Bernard Cornwell's medieval historical fiction, which is quite good, although not for the faint of heart. I ...

Re: Sweet Tweet
I don't trust. They do not support multi-language can, and then editor... Picture - a joke. My opinion. :-)
See http://balconyteam.com/ . That would be a game if you will.
What the hell does this even mean? If you are calling the picture a joke, that's pretty bold seeing as we know next to ...

Re: Who hired Zeblin? Some spoilers
Completely forgot that Korren died. Whoops! Or maybe it only appears that way? I can't really recall the cutscene (pathetic, as I finished my play-through mere days ago. My memory is worse than in the game!), but is Korren vaporized or suchlike? If so, perhaps he was just transported away, like ...

Re: What was the secret of Fathamurk? [Spoilers]
For me, the revelation was that Shina *may* have lied. While I distrusted Korren from the start, I swallowed Shina's story hook, line, and sinker. Knowing that the crystals were created here, or at least could be, makes me doubt him.

Re: Who hired Zeblin? Some spoilers
I wouldn't be surprised if we cross swords with Korren. I have my doubts about Shina, but Korren just seems crooked. Here's a possible idea:
Korren is corrupted by the One. He wants to use me (the PC) to unwittingly aid him, or maybe just kill me to get me out of the way. Darus realizes the boss is ...

Re: Cape Sorrow
Same goes here. I love detailed backstories. I think when the editor is released, someone (quite possibly me) might make a "Necromancer's Lair" underneath. Maybe with more information on the place. Some Thieve's Arcadia stuff would be nice, too...

Who hired Zeblin? Some spoilers
Just realized this. Darus was part of a secret society. I don't think many, if any, people knew of his involvement with the Crius folks. Who, then, had him knocked off? And so conveniently too, right as he is about to divulge all kinds of answers. Zeblin was just the instrument, not the plotter ...

Re: GREAT game!
I have to agree. EBI was my first RPG game I ever played, and I enjoy both games immensely. I think I prefer Book I, honestly, but I'm replaying II and have found plenty of things that I missed in previous play throughs.

Re: Rogue Build?
I find HiS so powerful, albeit less so in II, that I try never to use it. IMO, it makes things so easy. Same goes with Predator Sight. Being able to fight in the dark against an opponent who cannot just takes the fun out of things.

Cape Sorrow
In my current play-through, I'm at Cape Sorrow. I've always thought this region was pretty cool, despite being so small. This is one of those real "atmosphere" things I really like about the game. I always wonder about the backstory here. As cool as it is, I feel like we could get so much more. Any ...

Re: Rogue Build?
I don't find Hide in Shadows useless. In fact, I think it is extremely powerful. The character I beat Book 1 with, and my first Book 2 character used a combination of Hide in Shadows, extremely high Bow skill, and Predator Sight. I waited for nightfall and butchered the Taurax without being seen ...

Rogue Build?
So, I've beat the game three times now. The one character type I can't seem to get is Rogue. For me, it feels almost identical to Ranger. The first time I played the game, I played as a Ranger, and ended up with high dexterity and speed, between 25 and 30 in bows, and high pick locks, hide in ...
