Taking stuff from chests generally causes nearby NPCs to become hostile if they see you doing it because they think you are stealing from them.

The three chests south of Morwen in Rockhammer is a good place to start your hoard as it is isolated. Barrels are a good alternative too.

Just wondered if it was safe to store stuff in chests. I'm a complete pack rate and have barely any more space in my pack to horde stuff.

I can't get through the Lair of the Emayu Witch.

There are two grates on the west side, one of which has a level through it, but it is obscured.

There is also a double grate (with two skeletons behind it) on the east side plus a lever there, also apparently obscured.

I'm in an area with three levers around a square pit in the south of the screen.

Two of the levers are behind fences. Sometimes I can slip through the fences. Sometimes they're solid. Sometimes they're open.

But I can't spot a pattern and nothing seems to open - or make slippable-through - the ...

When I swapped my Cartography amulet for a Wis/Int one, I found that map details - specifically roads - got erased as I walked past. (They did reappear when I put the Cartography amulet back on and walked over yet again).
