Re: New gaming sites....
It's more of a hardware site, but I'm pretty sure I heard about Book 1 on the www.hardocp.com forums. The only other video game-related sites I visit on a regular basis are Giantbomb.com and penny-arcade.com

Re: Black Isle Re-releases
Yeah, probably won't have all the documentation, either. Wonder if they'll trickle down to something like Steam.

Black Isle Re-releases
Have you guys read about this?

Any word on US releases? I missed Planescape the first time around, and I would love a retail copy.

Eschalon: Book I up on Steam!
Hey BW and friends,
Just loaded up Steam and I noticed in the news that Eschalon is now available.
Congratulations, glad to see it up there.

Re: Spore
Much of the biased consensus I've come across is that the evolutionary stages your creature goes through are watered down versions of better games. Like they tried to put too much into it and just kind of ended up with a whole lot of "meh".

Re: Morning's Wrath
I actually bought Morning's Wrath through Stardock's new Impulse service. Played through the demo, but haven't gotten cracking on the real game yet.
But that leads me to my next observation, specifically directed towards BW, but whatever. Have you considered releasing games through a service like ...

Re: Divine Divinity
You're right about the first dungeon. That place is brutal, especially since it's nearly the first thing you do. I found the game a couple months ago on the bargain rack at Target, but I haven't really gotten too deep into it yet.

Re: Diablo 3 confirmed
Right, exactly. And I really don't think they were even trying in Diablo II. The vast majority of the narrative and back-story about the world you only find in supplemental materials (manuals, silly novels, etc...). It's as though the quests were only there to give you somewhere to go while you're ...

Re: Diablo 3 confirmed
I can still recall downloading and obsessing over gameplay videos that came out prior to Diablo II, and I honestly felt that same feeling creeping back up with the D3 announcement. I'm fully aware of the general mindset of this particular community, but I have a soft spot in my heart for killing ...
