Well after a long hiatus I'm back to Eschalon, rolled a new toon (Fighter, Str/Dex/Con w/low magic)...only lvl 3 atm and trying to make my way to get the key from the Caretaker by clearing out the basement area of the mortuary.

I can handle the normal salamander's unless I get cornered by 2 or ...

Found this game recently (yesterday heh) and began messing with it while on break at work today. I must say I had more fun with it than I thought I would ;)

No Country for Old Men was incredible!

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time, there's only one scene I wish had been done differently, but besides that it was perfect in my mind :)

I went with option 1.

I like the current engine. There are many little things to improve, of course, but this forum is full of suggestions so I won't go into them here. It has a nostalgic feel I enjoyed and it looks good. A Wiz8-style engine could be great, but I suggest getting a bit more mileage ...

41 here and I'm about to buy the game as well

Though I have to say that I think the torch should shed a bit more light lol
