Remember to write 'padsp_32 /Path/to/game/' rather than 'padsp /Path/to/game' or it will run without sound.

I once looked at these at the store and never purchased, because I only had cga graphics at the time. Always been meaning to pick them up, because I really loved the u6 engine. Thanks for the tip.

I'm sure it's very worthwhile, in the respect that you take part in the creative process (as you mentioned). Many (if not most) things that are worthwhile are also tedious at times. I've never developed games but in the programming I have done, no amount of hair pulling while trying to write the pro...

There's plenty of things to do while we wait for book 2. I'm just not sure what they are yet. Oh.. I know. Wait for Book 3.

So BW, when is book 3 going to be released?

I think i'll leave the beta testing to others and eagerly await the linux version

Beta testing isn't all fun and games. I think it would be most appropriate for people thinking about developing their own games as you'll get to see a smidgen of the tediousness that is involved.
