Good to know - though I haven't tried it myself; I figure the game would tell you, "You don't have enough room to pitch your tent here." or some nonsense like that if you tried to camp on a baggie.

Nope, no such luck. First I turned on the tacgrid, then stood facing the fence with one (empty) tile between my character and the fence. I then opened my inventory and tried to place the keg in the empty tile. It (the game) always places it somewhere else; either next to my character, or one square ...

Unfortunately, this doesn't work as I can't place kegs within 1 square (tile) of an obstruction - it says "there's no room to place the keg here" or some such. Is this fixed in 1.04? (I'm on 1.03 Mac version).

Some tips:
Use terrain to your advantage (when possible) - acid grubs aren't the brightest bulbs in the string, it's relatively easy to run them around an obstacle such as a river with a bridge such that they're on one side, and you're on the other. Walk along the bank of the river (or chasm) so ...
