I think messages about fully repaired items will be good improvements of Eschalon game.

I mean durning camping if item was fully repaired message about it should be displayed, like "Bronze mace was fully repaired", etc.

Maybe little offtopic, but usefull (at last for me):

If you have ATI GPU and Win7, maybe you noticed GPU scaling doesn't work (is disabled in CCC - at last in Catalyst 10.4).

So if you play Eschalon on WideScreen monitor, picture will be scaled to fullscreen (and look ugly) instead of keep aspect ...

@Smeghead and Hoborg,did you guys figure out how to fix the problem?You guys haven't commented for a while,I figured maybe it's because you two have been enjoying Book 2 :D

Same problem here.
Just installed demo version, after double click on "book_2.exe" and wait for some time, game popup "EXCEPTION_STACK_OVERFLOW".

BTW, compatibility mode/run as admin doesnot help.
