I noticed before that someone was wondering where some of the keys he has go, and as I was wandering around Grimhold just now, I noticed something.
I had the key to the room with the locket, but as I was fighting goblins, one of them went past that door and opened it (I saw him do it, and when the ...

Re: need some help :(
I know you probably stopped wondering about where some of these keys go by now, but I just discovered something that perhaps got missed in that key listing (well, I haven't looked at it, but...).

Re: Siege Of Avalon anyone?
Ahh yes, one of my favorite games.
I have the Anthology CD (well, the contents of it, at least. my CD cracked, but not before I had discovered that I could just copy the single file that was on the CD to my HD and install it from there :D
Anyway, another game I like to mod. I discovered that I ...

Re: How "Old School" is "Old School"?
Okay, well, the first "RPG" I ever played was probably also the oldest I ever played:
Either one of the Kroz series (Kingdom of Kroz, as I recall), or one of the ZZT games.
I know, these are text-based, but nobody said an RPG had to use graphics, all it need is you playing a role, and you can do ...

How "Old School" is "Old School"?
I've heard Basilisk Wrangler and others mention that they are "Old School" RPG gamers.
I'm wondering just how "Old School" we're talking about? In this thread, I'm asking the "Old School" people what they're talking about; as for the rest of you, just tell me what the Oldest "Old School" RPG youi ...

Re: What was the first RPG you ever played?
Hmm, that's a good question.
Planet's Edge, by New World Computing.
It may not have been the absolute first I ever played, my memory that far back is rather hazy, and most of the games I played were more adventure than RPG until Planet's Edge.
I still play it once in a while, and have hacked it ...

Re: Lilith is a Liar! (VERY SPOILERFUL)
Regarding Lilith and bees...
I wandered off SE of Lilith's house, and found a bunch of bees. As it was dark, I was able to take care of them rather easily by hiding in shadows. Oh, I should note that I did this after doing the "Kill the Queen Bee" quest for Lilith, as I noticed on the map that it ...

Re: Complete Puzzle List [MAJOR SPOILERS]
Okay, I know this is supposed to be where you post quests you've found, but now I've got a question...
I went to the pub and talked to the Shady Character, and when I told him Lilith was my friend and he could go take a flying leap, he picked a fight with me. I had to kill him then and there, but ...

Re: Be honest - do you cheat, and how?
Okay, first off, let me say that I normally do some cheating in RPGs, as I'm more into the adventure (exploration, finding things, figuring out puzzles, enjoying the scenery, etc.) than mindlessly running around battling things for long periods of time for no reason.
That said, apart from the save ...
