How high does your alchemy need to be to add +3 Harden Armor? I've got 13 and two +2 rings = 17 and it ain't happening yet.

What are the Most Useful Spells?
I'm playing a magic user with both Elemental and Divine. What higher level spells should I look for or try to buy if they come up? I've heard talk that Abyssal Freeze is good. Ogre Strength might have occasional use for a magic user carting back the spoils of a dungeon. I've seen Portal -- expensive ...

Strength also effects max weight of equipped items when casting elemental. Max casting equipment weight is 1/3 of Strength, as far as I can tell.

You can get the cartography book at level one from the innkeeper in the first town, Jarvik in Eastwillow. You will probably have to reload several times.

Thinking Cap and mana
I have a magic user with 25 intelligence, 29 perception and mana 101. With a Thinking Cap (+2 int) intelligence goes to 27 but mana doesn't increase. Is this a bug? Or am I missing something here?
