Re: Maximum Exp?

A good source for end rankings is the Steam forum screenshots section: http://steamcommunity.com/app/257870/screenshots/ .
I see someone got to level 30, the total experience never gets mentioned on those end screens, just the final level. I suppose for level 30 you need to do a hell of a lot of ...

Re: Witch's house chest puzzle

I don't mind a real head scratcher or ten in a game like this. I really like the puzzles.
I don't mind it either, as long as the really hard or vague ones are not on the main quest-line - the problem was that this one was on the main quest-line...
I hear your point. IMO it wasn't "too hard" for a ...

Re: Getting to Rockhammer mine Lvl2

Where do I find Logi? I paid his debt to the tavern keeper. But I never talked to him.

I hope he's not the dwarf you find on the first level of Rockhammer mine. In my world he's a little bit dead.

Yup that would be him, did you end up robbing him and making him hostile too

Yup, in ...

Re: Witch's house chest puzzle

The "floor plate" was a pretty good clue. I did miss it though.

Re: Witch's house chest puzzle

I think that the best clue was in the description:

"You see a basic oak chest sitting upon some kind of floor plate"

I often rush reading the captions, or miss them, so the first thing I tried was 5 red things (potion bottles). But - once I actually read the description again properly - the ...

Re: Just a thanks...

Hear, hear!

A big thank you for the entertainment. I cannot begin to express how much I love the play of the Eschalon series.

It's like I'm a kid again playing the "Ultima" series. Except when I was younger, I would sneak and play when my parents were asleep. Now I play when my kids are sleeping ...

Re: General Thoughts on Book III, So Far (some SPOILERS)

Amazing people finish the game in such a short time.

I guess people who do that only focus on the quests to beat the game, not the side quests?

To each their own. For me, I like the journey. I enjoy all the quests (if they advance me towards "winning" or not).

Re: General Thoughts on Book III, So Far (some SPOILERS)

I especially like the little things:

The T.Rex
Crazy Bernie
The secret places (especially the one with the dilemma: A or S?)
The stews
And the unintended perhaps: click on a skeleton and get meat scraps and a mushroom.

Still exploring and enjoying: it's much better than I or II.

Ahhhh. Thanks. I will try again. I thought I hit the key words in the book. Obviously not.

"Meaning of the note"

Can I get a hint (don't need a full spoiler) about part one of the "Meaning of the Note" quest?

I found the book referenced in the note. I just can't figure what to do with the two of them. Does it have to do with "Scribe within the word I seek"?

Also, each time I talk to the Ranger who gave me ...

Re: Almost there

Unfortunately, I'm 154.2mb into the download, through Google Chrome, and the Gamer's Hell server as apparently stalled. I don't suppose it's possible to continue through another?

I would just restart if I had normal internet.

Why isn't this on Steam or some other stable outlet? Gamer's Hell ...

Better Map in Mac download! :)

It looks like the map in the Mac version I just downloaded has a higher res than the one from the PC version I downloaded earlier.

Thank you!

A request for my Mac brothers and sisters:

Let's try not to harass them too much tomorrow if the Mac version isn't posted by early morning.

Thank you!

That would explain it. I'm playing Book 1 again on my Mac while I wait for the 26th.
