Re: jaded gamer seeks info on good rpgs . . .
I second the recommendations for Fallout and Morrowind. I'm really only interested in the long-term outcome of a game - my memory of the storyline, as long as the gameplay is interesting enough. Morrowind I can heartily recommend for the depth of the game world (history, politics, geography etc.). W...

Re: the grind is wearing me down
I followed dragonslayer's strategy in this thread: http://www.basiliskgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3423 Basically, the idea is to pump all skill points into Mercantile until you have 26 (with the Dealer hat and the book if you can find them). Then make it to Port Kuudad. Clean out the m...

Re: Preferred new skill training method?
This issue is covered quite well in this strategy post here: http://www.basiliskgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3171 Basically, 1. If a skill has a trainer for it, you should gain the skill from the trainer. (If you can wait long enough to reach the trainer and pay for it.) 2. If a skill h...

Ice Lance + Explosive Barrel = Game Freeze
Windows, Version 1.03 EDIT: Sorry, 1.02. I see this sort of bug has already been reported and fixed... At the end of a town guard killing rampage, I placed an explosive barrel next to the SE well in Port Kuudad. I stood next to it and cast Level 6 Ice Lance on the barrel, which promptly exploded and...

Re: Release Version of DVD?
Thanks for the prompt reply :) I don't recall being told a registration code when I ordered. I've checked my emailed Plimus order reference to look for a code. Mine appears to be a seven-digit number with no letters. Hoping that's the one... You should have gotten two emails, one from Plimus and on...

Re: Release Version of DVD?
I'd like to know as well, as I just ordered the DVD. Will we have to somehow update it by installing it from DVD, then uninstalling it and downloading the patched version? Or does the DVD come with a registration code, so we just download the patched version anyway, and unlock it?
