I did the room a few times (map reloads).. Supernova was interesting effect, but I really enjoyed bringing a pile of demon bottles and chunking those till they all burned up -- room filled wall to wall with fire -- snicker snicker burn burn

Just to confirm this bug just happen to me on my second play through of the game.

first time I saw and killed sparrow before my guild visit

this time I went to the guild first and got the password and still had to kill sparrow as is the way, but in this fight the item bag dropped next to the front ...

This is good for the later lava walking too.. ouch ouch ouch.. the smoke puffs are a nice touch............

just finished first game tonight..

overall about right.. I went slow with a ranger with magic and hide and sneak skills and did not have a really really hard time as I worked quest and knocking off beasties to get xp and level up..

I did think some areas of book1 were harder due to shear numbers ...

I walk down the hall with all the torch stands and enter the area where the portcullis slams behind me.

now I'm stuck in an area with 2 strange machine and can not open any of the doors or the main portcullis to go forward ...

I would like too to earn another 10K XP's to level up one more time and find a bit better light armor prior to going up stairs here .. I have good money but have not seen good light armor that often plus need more bad guys or a way to hang the bells.. which is back to my ealier problem of ...
