Perhaps, in windowed mode, they could also add Command-M for minimize and Command-H for Hide. I haven't done any serious programming on a Mac, so I'm not positive, but I imagine this would be accomplished simply by adding the aforementioned options to the application menu. But yes, those three sugge...

I know what you mean, Randomizer. The Eschalon application, particularly in windowed mode, doesn't seem to support standard functions like command-tab, close window, hide (if I remember correctly), minimize, and quit. I would really appreciate that last ability in particular, rather than having to g...

Sounds to me like three resolution choices would be optimal: 800x600 for legacy machines / small monitors / windowed play 1024x768 for larger 4:3 monitors 1440x900 for widescreen The greater resolutions could work for windowed play as well, depending on your screen's real estate. Increasing the amou...

The games are cheap - heck, you can buy *both* Av5 and EschBk1 for less than a single 'next gen' console game. This seems l...

Personally, although I understand it's supposed to be fairly realistic, I wish bashing things were a little easier. Having to hit a barrel 100+ times, and perhaps rest a couple days' worth just to see its contents... well, it gets old fast. You basically either have to be a rogue or a mage if you wa...

Re: slow movement
Please add a run button/option, and make it only available until a hostile creature spots you. I got a good buddy of mine excited about the game, but he called me today and said he probably wouldn't buy it, although he likes it, if only for one reason: he's frustrated that the character moves too s...
