It runs like a champ on our MacBook. Doesn't even impact the CPU(s) on our new iMac. Runs on my PowerBook but rather slowly. Smooth, but slowly.

Looks great, Basilisk - nice to be playing an RPG again!

Thanks,

Congrats on the Mac release!

Good news folks! I'll grab the demo when I get home and, if it runs well on my Mac(s), I'll buy the download. I will admit with some guilt I already played a small amount of the Windows demo on my Thinkpad, curiosity was killing me......

Thanks,

JB

Rats. I think these forums should be shut down until the Mac version comes out. Too many spoilers, and I can't stop reading...

Right now I would guess that the CD version will probably have a very high resolution world map that can be printed, a copy of the trailer in a couple different formats, and possibly some additional music.

Neat. I think I'll wait for the CD version, then. I'm waiting for the OSX version as it ...

Excellent news! Is there any extra material that will come with the boxed/CD edition? Or is it the same as downloading the game and dumping the download to CD for a back-up?

Out of curiosity - the minimum specs posted say "3D accelerated graphics card (DirectX 7.0 or better capability)" for Windows. How will 3D acceleration be pulled off on Linux (and OSX for that matter) with explicit DirectX requirements?

I'm not a graphics geek, so apologies if DirectX is covered on ...

Hello All - been lurking for a while, just registered.

How will games be saved? We have 2 Macs in the house (one portable, one not so much ;-) and I'd like to be able to play on either one. Will I be able to save my games to a network drive or USB stick or something? Also, will the games be saved ...
