I wasn't chosen, I am simply appreciating the chance Basilisk Games has given to the community.
Congratulations! Book 3 is in good hands. I am really hoping to see loose ends tied up and want to know what those new monsters are in game. Avadon 2 will be out in a few days but this will likely be ...

Re: Beyond Book III
I am hoping that everyone gets a chance to possibly voice characters in the next game. I would like for that as it would make it more dynamic and epic. Eschalon isn't a party based game so it might not fit that but a party based game would be cool with that.

Inaria-Single Char Rpg: Update!!
Inaria, a single character rpg with graphics similar to Avernum 1-3 and Exile is now updated with quite a few changes. It looks a lot better than before and gameplay changes were made too.

I should start playing Book I tonight. Can't decide if I should play with my mod or not. :?
Well seeing as I haven't used it yet, I will play with your mod

Re: Fallout 3...Not what I expected..
For me, first-person is out of the question unless its turn based. That means no morrowind, deus ex, system shock 2 or any other stuff. I know that some people like that but I don't. I find it confusing. When Basilisk Games comes out with their first person turn based party game, I will play it ...

Re: New TBased Party-based Rpg by Redshift
I always use pc. Its the only one that will work for my computers. I use mac for all my new games and windows xp for my old ones. Who would have thought that $50 could buy one of the most useful pcs out there.

Re: Temple of Elemental Evil
In case any of you care, there is a game called: Knights of the Chalice which is an excellent presentation of d and d within the same universe. There are rules of TOEE that were much better followed here than before. I lost track of the game over the years but I think I will complete it this time ...

Re: Eschalon I - other languages official versions
Recent discussion about russians trying to translate E3 into their language brought up a question.
Is there any official language version of earlier parts of the series ?
With some spare time, perhaps I`d like to try it on E1, with blessings form Basilisk of course.

Re: 1st screenshots of my RPG
So ok, I have a few questions/responses as rpgs are my only genre
1-Seeing as this is a party game will it be like baldurs gate where you can pause or more turn based like eschalon? Its really hard to define this as eschalon is turn based but operates somewhat fast in combat when its ...

Re: Games Like Eschalon?
Its really too bad that there aren't many games out there like Eschalon. I love party based games but nothing is more exhilarating than fighting General Ghorr or The Master with just a single character. I just finished General Ghorr fight and he actually ran away from me when I got him low on health ...

Re: What is the best thing in Eschalon Series?
I think the replay potential with Eschalon is amazing.
I find the "replay" value to have been much higher in Book I. Maybe it's because Book I was first, and I was driven to understand the underlying game mechanics of Eschalon; or maybe it's because Book I is shorter ("shorter" = "greater replay ...

I like that you are really tying up all the loose ends of people from book 2 and 1. I was cracking up at a few of them in reappearances in book 2.

Re: Cleaving Feat?
Great Cleave could be useful in places where you have to fight multiple monsters (such as Hammerlorne). Devastating Blow, for example, would be less efficient, because you'd have to hit all the enemies with it.
