I have been given the quest to destroy the spiders but the quest giver must have seen me steal something (despite being in the dark and across the road) and now three hours after I took the quest I went to accept my reward and now he is hostile. Is there a cheat where I can turn him friendly again ...

I can't actually remember what my first game was called but I remember my second one and that was Lands of Lore. I loved that game even if it scared the shit out of me, especially in the dark caves.
