I have probably spent the most time with ADOM, although I have never actually won the game.
Apart from that I would recommend IVAN. It is a pity that it is not being developed anymore.

Another vote for an archive....it is much easier to maintain the packages in different distributions that way.

That is great decision. I hope there will be a lot of linux users who will buy the game. We have to show support to such projects. Good work!
