d'oh! im at 3-5 the vast majority of the time if i stare at the options screen; this is well below 14-15
i thought on the youtube vid the lil guy was running a lot faster,
but now that ive watched it a few times, im pretty sure i am achieving the true intended walking pace
maybe in the future we ...

i've tried most combos of 16/32-bit, openGL/DX, and Windowed/FullScreen
my guy walks OK but slow
i would like to move (much) quicker
walking slowly in a dungeon is great
but in the overworld it takes quite a while to move anywhere
any advice? i watched my CPU utilization and it's only at 20-30 ...

I think the works of Gene Wolfe, H.P. Lovecraft, and William Faulkner are worth reading.
* Gene Wolfe's "Fifth Head of Cerberus" and "The Book of the New Sun" are great manuscripts... they are "deep" and take a lot of work on the reader's part to figure out what is really going on, mainly ...
