OK. I did a similar experiment, but ended up in the water just off the southern docks of EastWillow (north of your house).
I was right in the middle of the water though and could not move at all. So what I did was create a new char., then walked to EastWillow so I could get the FastTravel slot ...

Re: Poll: Book II Game Rules: Hit or Miss?
I left in hunger management and the fixed random seed checked. I dislike restrictions on when I can save/load and also think degrading equipment is not "fun" in terms of game experience.

This one was easy to answer.
More quests and more npcs.

Personally, I think we got short-changed with Broken Blade & Edon. At least ONE of the towns should have more content with NPCs, puzzles, things to do, etc. It's just too convenient a narrative that they were both ...

Re: Borehead bugged away - Quest "Exterminator" not finished
This quest badly needed an update to the quest text for each beetle you killed. For example, a "Beetles left kill: X" sentence at the end of the quest description text that got changed for each one you took out.
I kept track on paper.

Re: List of spells
To cast tier 1 spells you need 15 Int for Elemental and 15 Wis for Divine.
To cast tier 2 spells you need 20 Int /or/ 20 Wis. [Elemental / Divine]
To cast tier 3 spells you need 25 Int /or/ Wis. [Elemental / Divine]
An interesting distinction for those who truly want to optimize their chars ...

The spells Elemental Armor, Haste, and Stoneskin can really help. And remember, that if you make it out you can quick travel as soon as you reach the "outside".goodman wrote:Thanks, found the location.... and died

With items etc. I have managed to get Divinition 13. But does it make any sense?

Re: Advice for a Ranger
I'd say the first tiers of magic spells in both the Elemental and Divinity schools are very useful for the Ranger.
As soon as you can spare the points, you should learn Divinity and Elemental at least up to level 4. You should then learn these spells as a priority:
Bless (D)- makes you hit more ...

Question about how to reach certain town in the game
.... SPOILERS ....
OK, so I am at the point in the game where I am ready to travel to Edon. Now this might seem like a silly question, but how do I get there?
The quest journal says travel west along the Yuma River, but when I try to do this by following the path past Minus' cabin (on the ...

Re: Key Shortcuts
I'm definitely with you guys on this one. Some hot-key ideas:
1. Switching between weapon&armor sets
2. Cycling between the various attack modes (power, finesse, normal, etc)
3. In general, there should be a quick slot bar for items just as we have for spells. For example, pressing SHIFT+1 ...

My main thing is Jazz -- mostly hard bop, post bop, and "fusion" stuff:
Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, Coltrane, Eric Dolphy, Wes Montgomery, Freddie Hubbard, etc...
I also like Bjork (esp. her early days with KuKL, S.-cubes), Depeche Mode, and Steely Dan.

Re: Registration Numbers
As a computer tech/IT person, I can't tell you how many times people absolutely insist that they've entered in the correct password, and yet when I do it for them, it works like a charm. Then I get accused of some voodoo-mumbo-jumbo.
LOL. That might have been what happened to me. I just KNOW ...
