Coming back again in 2025
I've been replaying this trilogy as I like the idea of shareware better than the idea of early access. This keeps more money in the hands of the creators, imo. I'm playing all 3 at once

I've got alchemy 17 and I can't fill lanterns either. They explode.

Re: A Cheater
The way I've been cheating with this build is to play straight for the most part, but once I buy a non-combat skill to 8 at the trainers, I go into the editor and boost the skill to 31. The game isn't long enough to max out the non-combat skills, so I use the editor until we actually get a game that ...

Re: Stuck - looking for a clue
Moonrise is larger than it seems. Some people make a grave mistake by not exploring.

Re: Friend just rolled a 109 total (five 14's, three 13's)
Lameless, your post is actually more impressive than the first guy's? Why? You show that you haven't allocated any of the gender or origin bonuses. The other guy only took a shot of the roll without showing whether the bonuses had been implemented.

Re: Where do I go next?
Let me tell you, not paying attention to the map can make for a hard game. My first character went from the seawarden's guild straight to the blue floaty things and then through the number gate. The game was insanely hard. I didn't find Moonrise or Old Moonrise till I had done most of those other ...

Re: some thoughts for updates
How do you move a non-explosive barrel? I thought they were inanimate. Otherwise you could move all sealed barrels on a map and destroy them with one explosive barrel. Can we do that?

Re: Spoiler about Lucky and questions about his "faction"
What if you beat him from as far away as you can start a conversation and then quaff an invisibility potion? I don't even look at the challenges, because I think they're retarded, but would that keep them both active for you?

Re: A Cheater
Go back to your last save in Book II and give the money your character had at the end of that game to yourself via the editor. Now play the game as normal, but with the hard-earned cash from previous adventuring. This is the cheat I made up to use

In regards to the topic title:
I felt this way too at first, but the game is growing on me. There are a lot of fun ways to build your characters and I keep restarting, which is a sign I'm enjoying myself. I always restart games, typically 5-10 times before ever finishing even once and I'm doing ...

Re: Starting out and a few questions
Thanks Shroom, but I learned something: If you don't kill the scorpions and collect 300 gold a bunch of times, the game works :) I played it straight and all works as it should. If you use the exploit you can get infinite gold but lose access to level 2 of the mines. BW should close the loophole in ...

good idea shroom. If you know exactly what I need to do, I'm game. I'm an editor newb. I'm not that far along, so it wouldn't be that difficult to start over and just do things in the expectd manner.

Re: Starting out and a few questions (Bug)
Pooey, it isnt'. I've been all the way through the swamps and back and it's still closed. Must be a bug. It's probably because I killed all the roaches and scorpions before talking to Logi at all. In fact, I talked to Logi, paid off the lady and have been back dozens of times.

Re: Starting out and a few questions
Great, I started for real tonight and did the first level of the mine and turned in the two quests. According to several posts here there is a 2nd level of the mine but that isn't open for me. Do you have to wait a certain amount of time until it opens? I turned in the mayor guy's first, then ...
