Re: CrazyBernie's Indie Give-Away Starts Here!
I have all of these games (well not all from the Humble Bundle 2) but cool thread man. I did something similar on the Grim Dawn forums a while back for a free copy of King's Bounty I had.

Re: Modern Games Like Eschalon Book 2?
If you don't mind completely turn based combat Temple of Elemental Evil is about as good as it gets.
There is another game called Inquisitor that was released in Poland but should make it's way to our shores soon. Looks VERY promising.

Re: The Best 10 RPGs of all time!
I can't pick an order...but these are the 10 that I remember enjoying the most:
1. Pool or Radiance (SSI)
2. Darksun
3. Arx Fatalis
4. Eye of the Beholder
5. Morrowind
6. Final Fantasy (NES)
7. Temple of Elemental Evil
8. Baldur's Gate II
9. Diablo II
10. Titan Quest
I realize some of these are ...

Re: Grim Dawn, from the makers of Titan Quest
Personally Grim Dawn is one of my most anticipated games of 2011 (if it comes in 2011). Really loved Titan Quest so have high hopes for this game as well.
By the way...it's Crate Entertainment

Din's is very fun, really like the dynamic nature of...well...pretty much everything.

Re: Temple of Elemental Evil
I´ve also played all old SSI RPG Classics like Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silverblades, Champions of Krynn, Deathknights of Krynn and whatever the name of the rest was.
Very good games indeed! Especially Champions of Krynn was a favourite.
The new Pool of Radiance ...

Re: Just got this game today
Yeah that's about the same...some directions seem faster than other though I think that's just the angle or my perception, though.
I think it just feels overall slow and sluggish to me, not that there is something wrong. The game runs fine, just the walk speed in my humble opinion could be faster ...

Re: Just got this game today
My specs:
Q6600@3.0ghz
4GB 1333mhz Ram
Nvidia 260 GTX Core 216
Windows 7 64bit
60GB SSD for OS
300GB SATA for games/apps
Baring some kind of weird compatibility/driver issue it's probably not my specs :P
Other than specs...is there anything I should check?
The game seems like it's running fine ...

Just got this game today
Like the topic says just got the game and so far (about 5 hours in) really enjoying it :D
Love the old school feel of it, and when I say old school I mean games before Baldur's Gate!
Graphics are nice, sound is good, and even the music is good. I enjoy the fact the game is pretty combat heavy ...
