Re: [Bug] Cloak of Shadow & Skill books?
And another thing, after i read my 2nd "Art of brewing" book, my alchemy skill doesn't increase at all. Is it suppose to be like this? I didn't chose "Alchemy" as one of my starting skills. The 1st "Art of brewing" book which i found worked fine and added 1 point to my...

Re: Thinking Cap and mana
I have a magic user with 25 intelligence, 29 perception and mana 101. With a Thinking Cap (+2 int) intelligence goes to 27 but mana doesn't increase. Is this a bug? Or am I missing something here? Great game, by the way. An absolute delight. Stats that affect HP (Strength and Endurance) and MP (Int...

Re: Hit Points / Mana Points on level up inconsistency?
I wonder what the formula for HP/MP on level up is. This was discussed some time ago, long before the game was completed. Based on empirical evidence, I'd say the formula mentioned by BW in that thread is out-of-date, but the concepts are probably the same. One consequence of this is that it would ...

Re: Trainers for skills? (possible spoilers)
You've already found the trainer, but for some reason Thrown didn't make it on your list.Loriac wrote:Are there any other trainers out there?

How do I make healing potions at lvl. 2? I have the lvl. 1 recipe and tried using a lvl. 1 healing potion and then mixing the reactant and reagent for a higher healing potion but got an explosion! Is there a different recipe, or do I just need more skill? Effectiveness of Alchemy is based on Alchem...

i never said that this is a bug. Sorry, I was confused by it being in the support forum. I thought you were identifying it as a bug / exploit. i just wanted to discuss this matter, because i found it strange that you can purchase something so valuable (3 skillpoints) for so little money (100gp) Wel...

Re: Many Questions and Strategic help/Advice needed part 1!!
17) What is the best weapon skill to use for a divination-based character, seeing as how the weight penalty could be a factor? I would imagine short-bladed weapons, being smaller, would also be lighter. Bludgeoning weapons - maces, hammers - seem to be the heaviest so far, with Swords in the middle...

training skills becomes very expensive after skill level 3, and money isn't just growing on trees in this game. if you wanted to spend 2k + training up a melee skill that's your call, but honestly, i'd focus your skills a bit more. For instance, I've bought a few skill levels in throwing for Demon ...
