That's an interesting example of crazy damage. This is exactly the opposite problem though. I'm NOT seeing high damage from each hit. Not only does it not say Critical in the text but the damage is consistent with regular, non-crit hits.

After multiple play throughs with multiple different melee builds I realized something disturbing with my most recent Piercing spec rogue. I never seemed to score a Critical hit when using my weapon feat of Double Strike.

All my other melee builds would often combine Critical hits with weapon ...

My experience with playing two Nefarious builds so far (one bow spec and the other piercing spec) is that it provides a 5% chance to do an extra 50% damage. I'm about to finish my 4th run through Book II (I did Paladin/Cleric, Pure Mage, Unarmed/Monk, and Archer). I can't think of another class I want to play through now, so I guess it's time to find another game until Book III arrives!

Would be useful to know what kind of character you're playing and how you've spent your stat/skill points. If you haven't spent a good deal on your primary weapon skill you may be having trouble damaging enemies?

Crushed! Was dearly hoping to have Book III in early 2012... sounds like it'll be late 2012 at best. Oh the agony of waiting... Gluck with continued development though. Rather have it right than rushed!

On my third play through, I finally realized the existing posts about how to calculate Hit Points & Mana Points weren't entirely accurate. I don't know if formals have changed in 1.05 patch or what, but here's what I've learned so far.
