I just finished Book 2. That was quite a bit shorter than I was expecting. I am disappointed because I enjoyed playing it
Now I must decide between Book 1, Avadon or trying this one again without cheating heh.
It took me 19.3 hours.
Thanks Basilisk! No regrets on buying this!
Just a heads up: If you can help it, DO NOT LET STEAM UPDATE THIS GAME TO 1.2 . Your mileage may vary, but this is what I got after updating:
* Fast travel is broken, if you click on a marker the map just closes. * Favorites menu is broken, if you click on anything it just closes. * Lock picking ...
I would like to have the ability to put in map notes on the quick map.
Several times I have found it difficult to re-find something that I was looking for. Or if I run into some monsters that are out of my league, I could put a note on the map warning myself. In Pools of Radiance you could add ...
Ok, so maybe it is not necessarily "better", but I am finding it more addicting! I only recently bought both book 1 and 2 through steam. I didn't know what to expect.

I found din's curse a couple of months ago while my main computer was in the shop and I needed something less intensive to play. I absolutely loved the demo and quickly bought the game. Sadly, it took longer to arrive in the mail than anticipated (i got the retail version and not the download. dumb ...
while i haven't had an issue with the brightness level in book 2, the extreme darkness in book 1 really turned me off.
I have not experimented with all of the light sources, but I know that the magical light spell is weaker than a torch, and I very much dislike that. Perhaps make things darker but ...
I'd like to have the ability to adjust the difficulty. And I don't mean the few options at the start of the game like requiring food and water. I'm talking monster strength. I found eschalon 1 very hard to start, especially with how dark that first dungeon was. NOT a good place for a level 1 noob ...
