Yeah, Tom does great on some of the more subtle things. That being said, what are some of your thoughts on my orakur speculations? Would love to hear from you too, BW.

Ok, yeah, Zeblin I got, too. I am talking about the place that you portal all around to get to the lair. It has shadow assassins I belive in it that either shoot you with bows or throw shurikens at you. Ends up with a couple of chests. Not the find the killer plot/quest.

Re: Please add cannibalism (this is a serious request)

Perhaps the game could allow you to eat some of the remains of what you kill. This could give you nourishment or make you sick (i.e. depending on what your race/type/alignment). If you look at the Rogue game, if you ate some of a monster you killed you could also gain some of the attributes of that...

Re: Ok, My thoughts on the game. *****Spoilers*****

Did I miss somthing in Port K that lead me to go after the Assasins, or is that just something you stumble across? You did not find the Assassin? I have a feeling you did simply not open every door in the game! No, I found them, I just didn't find any quest related to finding them. They are pretty ...

Ok, My thoughts on the game. *****Spoilers*****

Ok, just finished the game over the weekend. Was playing a straight mage with mercantile, light armour, elemental, and divination as my main skills, no weapon skills. Over all a great game, though I think the story does flow better and keep you more involved in the plot in Book I more so than Book I...

Re: The quirks of Shields

Hey, I know this is an old thread, but I ran into something this weekend that matches up perfectly to your shield bug/quirk. Dense Nimbus does the exact same thing. I was fighting Thaurax javlins and axeman and had it up to deflect the javelins while I Mystic Hammered the melees and one got close at...

Re: COMPREHENSIVE Book III 'Wishlist' (List form)

actually you bring up a great idea for Book III. Let attackers follow you from map/level to the next map/level. Takes away the trick of popping over to a map sliding up to the top, comming back and sniping.

Re: Thinking about starting with Eschalon - Few Questions

ah, but those skills are not free, as it costs you gold to buy them. Also the choice to use, or not use the trainers is just that. You don't have to buy elemental because they sell it you can spend your own points, or elect not to have that skill. And yes there are penalties. Imagine if you put a fe...

Re: Thinking about starting with Eschalon - Few Questions

I have to say by your post that everything is actually working the way it should, Kordanor, and I will tell you why. First as a jack of all trades, and yes with all those skills you mention you are pretty close to being one, you have to use strategy to beat higher level encounters. If it didn't requ...

Re: Thinking about starting with Eschalon - Few Questions

You know I actually have a Book II wish list item that I would love to see happen after Book III is finished. BW has said that the story is not as complete as he wanted due to running into engine issues that were delaying the release. I would love to see him go back to Book II and make the changes t...

I have not yet gotten there, started over a couple times, might post some thoughts after I do. I have gotten the key and have snuck in and out of the mines, have not gone after the crux yet. Gonna go for the pup first. I also gotta check my gear not sure if I missed a bell along the way so far.
