Re: Book III Update for May
I just can't wait to see it!!! OK, obviously I can wait… but I'm really really really excited to see it come out. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

Re: adjustable window?
He later "fixed" it by requiring a newer operating system than that computer could easily use. LOL Sneaky. As seems clear from your post, you're no doubt already aware that BW has said that "adjustable resolution" (which is basically what you're requesting here) is not possible ...

adjustable window?
I know now that Eschalon Book III is the last of the series. Yes, I managed to not notice the "trilogy" part. :? I have a special request. Whatever becomes the next big thing for BW… could it have an adjustable window (screen) frame? I like using a windowed version to be able to go into th...

Re: quests for thought
Well, as the newbie to RPGs… I bow to everyone else's greater experience. Maybe someday it will be feasible to create one that isn't obnoxious. I really like the leash idea though!

Re: quests for thought
At that point I might kill the bugger myself! I was thinking that you could tell the person to stay put (stay Fido, stay!) or have them back to back with you.
Just a thought.
Just a thought.

Re: quests for thought
Totally unrelated… would it be feasible to make the windowed version so the window size can be adjusted? I like being able to see the clock and some other stuff on my screen, including bouncing in and out of here. The window's current size is hard for me to see without putting my face almost on the ...

Re: quests for thought
Oooh new thought… another fun one could be having to help a town or shop defend itself against a specific threat or for a specified time frame.

quests for thought
OK, yes I was being silly with the subject header. I came into this not that long ago, so it's probably too late to put this in. On the other hand, if there are 4 cruxes, maybe there will be a book IV. So, here goes… It would be a serious challenge (and fun) to put in a quest of having to escort som...

Re: Install Limits? Internet Connection Required for Book II
Thank goodness… That has always perplexed me. Just why would I buy a game and then have to buy time to actually play it??? Maybe it's worth it, but I haven't seen any reason to find out. I like being able to play a game at will once I've purchased it.

Re: Automapping feature instead of requiring Cartography ski
I think my preference would be for cartography to continue as a purchased or point driven skill, but with the skill beginning at level 1 at the outset of the game. I do have a question as to the possibility of being able to write on the maps we buy at the stores/merchants? I'm thinking of when you p...

Re: completed first runthrough. <Spoiler>
I played a few characters in Book II and just recently bought book I. I'm having a great time playing it! I have noticed the improvements between I and II. I'm glad that those were put into book II, but it hasn't diminished my enjoyment of book I. I'd say these are awesome games. Just as I did in bo...

Re: Fathamurk Walkthrough
Apologies if this is considered 'bumping'. I thought I would add a few tidbits to your walkthrough Vrogren. I'm trying to keep them labeled to the same sections you have them in, but I defer to your excellent skills in organizing the info. So here goes: Preparation: General - Leave as much stuff out...

Re: Fathamurk Walkthrough
Oh yeah, cartography is another favorite skill, for that exact reason. I never had to guess about where the heck I was once I got it up to 7 or 8. That was really useful in not just Fathamurk, but even at level 2 or 3 it makes life much easier in the caves of Farrock and the sewers of Kuudad. It's a...

Re: Jack of all trades game style..?
I have to say that my favorite is the cat's eye brew from alchemy, or even better the combination cat's eye and gravedigger flame from magic sector… no need for torches. Yippeeeee.
