Re: completed first runthrough. <Spoiler>

while my reply was sarcastic and rhetoric, i was legitimately curious, and am glad to know.

Re: the Thief Series (stealth game)

the Thief Series (stealth game)

i recently saw in gameinformer that Square Enix (SE) is coming out with a new stealth game called "thief" (always so creative).

i love SE, in fact Final Fantasy Tactics is what first got my interested in turn based games, and probably played a huge role in my eventual playing of eschalon. after ...

Re: completed first runthrough. <Spoiler>

To the TL;DR crowd: Why are you on a forum if you are averse to reading? tsk tsk.
I couldn't help but notice you added this to your signature recently. Can I ask why?

it irks me when people use "tl;dr". a forum is (obviously) text based and if something is "too long to read" than that ...

Re: GREAT game!

Welcome, Rikus. There are a lot of us here, not related to the developer, who have said pretty much the same stuff. :) Glad you're having fun with it. Of course, some of us think that the most fun is going back and doing it again with different types of characters. The game gives you lots of ways ...

Re: quests for thought

for the record, i haven't played RS since the Evolution of Crap (EoC) but that doesn't mean it wasn't a great game back in 2006/7 when i was a daily player..

im glad this seems a generally acceptable idea... *waits in anticipation of future responses*

also now that it's morning and i'm re-reading ...

Re: Attacking Siam crashes the game!

if needed, i have book 1 for mac but as i havent even broken it out yet it might take a bit for me to get to the point where this bug is appearing. i guess i better get started on book 1 now

Solution: Don't kill Siam.
That way the game doesn't crash, and BW continues work on Book III ...

Re: quests for thought

i had a crazy idea while reading this thread.

2 medium/large cities, a few people(scholars? merchants? ) who are looking for safe passage back and forth. you will escort them - for a cost. say theres 4 different people, one is an old man/professor who can hardly protect himself, moving ...

Re: Minecraft server?

another vote for non-sticky.

as for not being active on the server - i play a lot of creative (sorry to the survival-fanatics  ) i am the type of player who tends to build/focus on details and the like rather than mining and exploring, ect. also i got myself stuck down a hole or mineshaft or ...

Re: Critique of Eschalon - Learning Cliffs, and real strateg

Dearest Wraith Magus;

if the Eschalon series doesn't work for you, consider asking yourself why you are here? if 1000+ hours on the same skyrim account is for you, then perhaps you should turn on your xbox. (ps3? ) i myself am an ex-mmorpg player, with 160+ days on a Runescape account, and ...

Re: completed first runthrough. <Spoiler>

i started a new character, (named stinkmeaner :D) and started out with unarmed. since i am a bit more educated about the game now, i feel like i can make a stronger character. level 2 and already 9 unarmed is great, and i plan on using the feat to grind levels pretty quickly. im going to do thieves ...
