In Book 1, the duration of the Haste spell / potion was reduced drastically to 4 rounds - too much so, IMO. I would like to see the duration increased to 8 rounds for Book 2.

Kudos to Basilisk for implementing the choice system in Book 2! that should save them a lot of griping from people.
As for the re-rolling issue...I choose to use re-rolling in my gameplay, and it doesn't hurt anyone else's gameplay. Where this issue truly affects the game is this: if Basilisk Games ...

1) I was unpleasantly surprised to see how MUCH the duration of the Haste spell had been reduced, to the point where I consider it almost useless. I understand that 40 rounds per casting level was a bit high, but 4 rounds???? That's more than 1 mana point per round - verrrrrry expensive. Could this ...

On another game forum (Demise) in the Off-Topic Discussion threads, someone advertised Eschalon there and posted the link. Sheer curiosity led me to the main site and convinced me to download the demo; shortly thereafter, I bought the game.
