That's true what you said about Fallout. Not so much Fallout 2, but especially Fallout 1. The amount of goods you could sell really unbalanced everything. Sure, merchants would run out of bottle caps, but then you'd just take their ammo and stim packs. I'd have close to 150 stim packs by the end gam...

Well, the first CRPG I played was Ultima Exodus. This was in 86, and I was only ten years old at the time...so to a wannabe computer nerd like me, it was like finding the holy grail. Took me two years to beat it, which when looking back now, seems pretty sad. After that, I got into the Gold Box game...
