By how much are the random encounters while camping reduced versus Book I? After 30 game days and 4.5 hours (not counting a couple restarts), I have yet to be awakened by anything, even when I've camped 18 or more hours underground. I also had it, but on restart, it was gone. I'll screenshot it if it happens again. It just shows up a funny white or black rectangle for a capital P. Everything else looks incredible, so far!

Another bug I've just discovered is that in Windowed mode, the 'esc' key doesn't seem to work. I double-checked by going back to full screen and it does still work in that mode.

I actually skipped alchemy entirely except for getting the guy to train me in a level... and then never once used it, so I don't know that it's critical... but cartography for sure.

There's actually a little more to it than just the gold. There is something else you can get in there that's useful, though not mandatory.

My impression, after touching it twice and avoiding the curse the first time, was that it was something that would be wise not to keep on touching.
