For the special enchanted items, the power of the enchantments returns as it is repaired. Just keep repairing stuff, and you'll get good enough to fix that shield (and even better stuff that comes later).

That's the problem, it was never 'fixed' by Cedric in the first place. Okay, I mean I had one having completed that quest. Then my computer crashed and when I got back the quest was still completed but no shield. Went and got another but Cedric wouldn't fix it for me, so there is no magic on it even though it is still the special shield.

for the price, providing both SP and MP, it's too fun a game to pass up.
The best thing about single player is the cheats - now say you want to find out what a certain build would end up like - goto single player cheat like hell to build your character up and see what you may get in MP if you play that build :)

I wouldn't know how to even start to do something like that. Though I'm tempted. I could look (??) in another characters file to see what the code was for a 'finished' sheld and pop that into the one with the broken one.

Not sure I want to yet. Getting a bit bored with it. Did find a npc that wanted bat fangs and would pay 25 gp for them. May go out and 'camp' for bats... :)

I have 1 pp and 47gp 64sp & xxcp/tps at the moment.

If you buy the game, can you get higher than 15th level off line, single player "group"??
I just discovered I can only get 3 characters together unless I get the premium (??) stuff and I can't remember if/what I typed in to get the 'free' download.

Dragonlady,

It says that if you buy the game, you can get up to 100/100/100 (primary, secondary, and tertiary skills classes) with up to six characters in your party in single-player mode.

I think that would take a lot of grinding, though. :)

I broke down and did that too. :) Thing with single player, offline, groups is only one gets the 'presence' tokens and special items, not all of them.
