Undergound Repository

Post by jon_27 »

I've gotten the key to open my box in the Repository but I killed Lillith before she told me what it was. I've also killed everyone in the Repository, so is there any way for me to get in my box?

If Lilith identified the amulet as a key for you, then you just have to explore the repository to find the corresponding numbered room.

I said that I killed her before she told me what it was, so no she didn't identify it for me

I don't think Lilith ever tells you exactly what it is. IOW, I don't think it matters that she never told you what it is.

If you hold your cursor over that amulet, the little ID screen that pops up tell you what "number" that amulet passkey is. Same will be true for Lilith's amulet passkey.

So all you have do is search around The Repository, look at the signs outside each vault, and match up the number on the vault signs with the number(s) on your amulet passkey(s).

Before Lilith "Identifies" the amulet it's just called the strange amulet. I think it will still work though, haven't tested it, but it should be fine. It's for number 26 if I remember correctly.

Exactly. If you don't just kill the goblin but show him the amulet he will tell you what number it is for, even if you never talked to Lilith.

But I did kill the goblin too and my amulet isn't identified

Try the lever near where the goblin was originally standing, that should open the gate letting you into the vaults area, also if you also killed the guards two other portcullises should have opened allowing you inside as well.

Do you still have the "strange amulet" in your inventory? Cause then you should be able to open up vault 26, if not then you're borked, or I have the number incorrect.

Even borked though you can still finish the game, but one of the three endings will be unavailable.

Actually two of the endings will be unavailable. You need the content of the chest for the bad and the good ending.
You can only get the destroyer-ending without it.
please correct me if I am wrong.

I was actually thinking that you could not finish the game at all since you need the item to use the teleporter.
I dropped it right in front of the final boss (goblin). So maybe there was something checked when I entered the citadel with it.

With the item: you can use the final teleporter back and forth.
If you place the item the teleporter gets deactivated.
If you do not have the item you can use the teleporter freely.

That seams a little bit odd to me.

On a bit of a whim, I built up a mage in very much the glass cannon style, and got myself four goblin keys without ever going in the repository let alone Blackwater and went on up and killed the boss(Goblin) and used the teleporter freely, so one ending is still available if you skip/can't do the repository.

Didn't have the proper stats or spells to get the Destroyer ending though as my mage is currently only lvl 10. Honestly I'm surprised I got him that far.

If you bought some invisibility potions and used compress atmosphere spell you might be able to finish while the guards wander around. You still need plenty of mana potions and a few fortified mana potions.

I know this is kind of an old thread, but I found a way around the Lilllith issue. I actually got into the Repository before finding Lillith. This may be a bit of a spoiler to some, so I'll throw it down below for those who wish to avoid knowing.

On the west end of Blackwater is a house, a double residence or apartment. The unit on the right is a cime scene with a body. The lock has to be picked to gain entry. Either on the body, or in a chest, I forget which, is a note with instructions on how to gain access through the Inn in Blackwater.
